Stubborn and dedicated, as well as compassionate and patient, Sayoko isn't one to sit back and watch when things start to go wrong, and will continue reaching out and chasing despite any rebuffs or threats. A doctor by profession and by temperament, she is concerned over the larger picture of the state of the world almost to the point of simplicity, and has a strong sense of duty that sometimes gets in the way of her own personal desires. Her patients take priority, even when she's trying to help someone she cares deeply about. She can't abandon those in her care, yet at the same time, she's willing to go above and beyond for those she treasures, no matter how many warning signs of danger show.
